Madison Bike Winter is a small but dedicated band of cyclists who are determined to keep their bikes out of storage when the temperature dip and snow starts to fall. In a effort to acknowledge the efforts of the area’s winter commuting community, Madison Bike Winter declared this week to be the 2nd annual Winter Bike to Work Week!

As a part of the week’s exhilarating events, the Planet Bike crew was happy to host our first ever Bacon on the Winter Bike Path! About a hundred happy cyclists stopped by for sizzling Nueske’s bacon, piping hot coffee from Barriques, and the warm cheer of the Greasy Girls and the Machinery Row bike shop staff.
