Last week, as the world’s attention focused in on the inauguration of the 44th president of the United States, we wanted to play at least a small role in the historic occasion.

In an attempt to support the pro self-propelled platform, we worked with our friends at National Pedicab and Austin-based Triciclo Pedicabs, to sponsor a few of the 55 pedicabs that were out in full force during the week-long festivities. As you can probably imagine, most of the streets in the central downtown D.C. area were closed to motor vehicles. As a result, bicyclists, pedicabs and pedestrians had the run of the place. Here’s to a new era of energy independence!
