Last Day to donate to USBRS goal!
Posted on May 31st 2012 | Advocacy, Bike Life, Blog,Adventure Cycling Association is closing in on reaching its $50,000 National Bike Month fundraising goal for the U.S. Bicycle Route System (USBRS). Today is the last official day in the campaign and your gift can make all the difference. Help Adventure Cycling accomplish some key things in the coming year to grow this national network of cycling routes, donate $10, $25, even $100 today.
What kind of things will your donation support?
Your contribution will allow Adventure Cycling to:
· Coordinate the route planning and AASHTO application process of 41 states
· Maintain as many as 100 planned corridors
· Manage dozens of volunteers
· Provide all the training, education, outreach, and other support to implement the project
Most importantly, through this campaign Adventure Cycling hopes to raise the funds to create a “best practices guide,” that will outline various models for states to create U.S. Bicycle Routes, so that the organization can be more effective and productive implementing the project.
