With an unusually slow Friday afternoon, I took it upon myself to clean up the Planet Bike bike parking garage/work area. It wasn’t pretty, but the job got done…our daily commuter bikes are much happier now. The garage housed quite a few gems that have gone unused for years. Two such gems are the formerly prized PB adult tricycle and shopping cart. Both were previously used for picking orders in the warehouse. Now that the warehouse has been streamlined a bit, I figured the time was now to get them outta here! Both took prime positions along the road in front of PB headquarters. The trike got snatched up in no more than 10 minutes. The cart took a bit longer. On the curb it sat as we headed home on Friday night. But lo and behold, as I swung into work this morning, it was gone. So long friends, you’ve served us well.
